Watchlists & the heatmap

The Watchlist page treats your list like a little portfolio: how it performed today, this week, this month; how it stacks up against the S&P 500; and — the crowd favourite — the heatmap, which turns your whole list into one colorful picture.

The heatmap: each tile is one of your stocks. Size = company size; color = performance for the period you pick.

Reading the heatmap

  • Big tile = big company — so you instantly see whether your heavyweights or your small bets are driving the day.
  • Green = up, red = down; deeper color = bigger move.
  • Switch the period — Today, 1W, 1M, YTD — and watch the picture change. A list that’s red today may be deep green on the year.

Performance view

The performance panel tracks your list as if you held equal amounts of everything in it, and plots it against SPY and QQQ. It’s an honest mirror: it shows whether the things you watch are actually beating “just buying the index.”

Good to know
You can keep multiple lists — one per strategy, sector, or mood. Star a list to pin it into your sidebar.
