News

The News page is a live wire of company press releases and SEC filings, each matched to its ticker, newest first — so the reason behind a move is usually one glance away.

Using the feed

  • Switch between All, Press Releases and SEC Filings, and filter by ticker, words in the headline or market cap.
  • New items slide in at the top. Rest your pointer on the list and it pauses so nothing jumps while you read.
  • Click a release to read it right there, starting with its key points — a few bullets with the figures and dates that matter.
  • The gear lets you hide law-firm solicitations (“investors who lost money…”) and turn on a soft chime for new items.

What the filing types mean

  • 8-K / 6-K — a “current report” — something material just happened (a deal, results, a leadership change).
  • Offerings — paperwork to sell shares — a dilution warning sign for small companies.
  • 13D / 13G — someone now owns 5% or more of the company.
  • 10-Q / 10-K — quarterly and annual reports.

Every filing is listed on its own row; insider forms (Ownership (3/4/5)) and the largest issuers’ routine note paperwork are kept to one row per company and form each day, with a count such as ×12 that opens the SEC’s full list.

Good to know
Headlines move fast and first takes are sometimes wrong. Treat a headline as the start of your homework, not the end of it.
