The Desk

The Desk is a multi-monitor setup inside one page: up to six live windows side by side, sized and arranged however you like, and saved so it’s the same tomorrow.

Building your desk

1. Open Desk. Start from the Daytrading desk preset under Layouts, or add windows yourself with + Window.
2. Choose what each window shows from its title bar: Patterns, Runners, Catalysts, News, Chart or Watchlist.
3. Drag a window by its title bar to move it — drop it beside a column to start a new one (up to three) or onto a column to stack it. Drag the thin dividers to resize.
4. Name and save the layout under Layouts. Star it and it appears under Desk in the sidebar.

Charts that follow your clicks

Click a ticker in any Desk window and your chart windows switch to it — you never leave the Desk. For a stock that isn’t on screen, press ⌘K (Ctrl + K on Windows), type its ticker and choose Open chart: it opens in a chart window on the Desk. The search in the top bar works here as it does on every page — it opens the stock’s own page. Your windows are saved as you go, so they are there when you open Desk again (a starred layout opens as you saved it). To keep one chart on a stock, click its link button to pin it; pinned charts stay put while the others follow.
