A tour of the terminal

Everything in BreakoutScan happens in one window we call the terminal. It has five parts, and once you know them, no page will ever feel unfamiliar.

1. 1The sidebar (left, dark) — the list of pages: Home, Desk, Runners, Catalysts, News, Calendar, Patterns, Watchlist. Click one and it opens in the middle. The page you’re on is highlighted.
2. 2The toolbar (top) — type any ticker symbol (like AAPL) in the search box to jump straight to its chart. The clock on the right always shows US Eastern Time, the market’s time zone.
3. 3The workspace (middle) — whatever page you picked fills this space. This is where you’ll spend your time.
4. 4The status bar (bottom) — quietly tells you whether data is live and which market session we’re in right now.
5. 5Your account (bottom of the sidebar) — your name, plus a gear icon for settings: manage your subscription, get support, or log out.
